There are always crazy challenges when it comes to the NFL schedule and this year is no different. The strange thing about quirks is that not all of them are made the same way. Some teams will be happy with the challenges they play while many other teams will not be happy with the challenges offered by the league office.

So who found the most stupid? That’s a big question, so let’s find out.

Here are 11 of the most amazing things in the 2022 NFL series.

  • The bears will end December at home. The Bears have a special season: They don’t play ONE game in December, which shows the first time what has happened to the Bears since 1964. The Bears will play a home game against the Packers on Week 13 (Dec. 4). They have a bye in Week 14 (Dec. 11) and then follow it up with a home game in Weeks 15 (Dec. 18) and 16 (Dec. 24). Although they play a street game in Week 17, the game will take place on Jan. 1, which means he has a ZERO road game in December.
  • Chiefs receive a deadline for release. With their 2022 plan, the Chiefs will be the first team in NFL history to open the season with eight consecutive games and those who finished above .500 last season (Via Elias Sports Bureau). Stretch starts on Week 1 as they head to Arizona and continue to Week 9. Here’s a look at their brutal opening eight games: At Cardinals, Chargers, Colts, Buccaneers, Raiders, Bills, 49ers, bye, Titans.

  • Jets and Ravens with surprises begin to prepare. The Jets have started the season and will play every team in the AFC North for the first four weeks marking first since the 1970 merger that the Jets played four straight games against the same divisions each season. At the end of the Ravens, they have started the season with four straight games against AFC East, the first showing to open the season against four teams in the same division.
  • The rulers go back. The Commanders have a very special quirk on their agenda: They will be playing back-to-back games against the Giants from Week 13. After playing on the road in New York that week, the Commanders will have time in Week 14. before playing the Giants game in Week 15. This it also shows for the second time since 1991 that the NFL team has played a regular game against the same opponent. That being said, the NFL looks very good with that idea because the only time that happened in the last 30 years came last season with the Browns facing the Ravens in a back-to-back game.
  • The worst way to start a season. There are only three teams in the NFL that need to play their first TWO games on the road this year and the teams are: The Buccaneers, Colts and Patriots.
  • The worst way to end the season. On the other side of the spectrum, there are seven teams that have closed out the season with two straight games, however, only two have insisted on playing two straight DIVISIONAL games to close out the season: The Vikings and Panthers.
  • Bye, bye, bye. The Texas is meet the three teams that will be released this year, which is the most common in the NFL. This is not good because teams will have more time to prepare before playing in Houston. On the other side of the game, there are seven teams that will face zero opponents coming: Bills, Lions, Broncos, Buccaneers, Chiefs, Bears, Commanders.
  • AFC West is the best. The four AFC West teams are currently preparing for their first 19 appearances in 2022, the second highest in the Super Bowl era. according to NFL research. The only part that did not prepare for the long-term start was NFC East in 2015.
  • Week 14 hello. The Falcons, Bears, Packers, Colts, Saints and Commanders all arrive at week 14, which is notable for two reasons. Firstly, it is in line with the recent plans that each team has been given since the NFL grew to 32 teams in 2002. The teams seem to like the future and last season confirmed why: 2021 was the only time since 2002 when the teams sat down. given a Week 14 bye and all four teams that received well that week ended the year with a successful record.
  • Three teams closed on Amazon’s first “Thursday Night Football” season. This season will be the first time Amazon will have a package on Thursday night and in the launch year, 29 of the 32 league teams will be showing up on Amazon Prime. Three who would not? Giants, Vikings and Lions. That being said, all three have taken the game on Thursday this year and that is why all three will play on Thanksgiving.
  • Extra long travel. The Packers, Dolphins, Eagles and Chiefs have one big thing in common this year: They are the only teams in the league that have to play three consecutive road games. While not ideal, the NFL teams that stick to a three-game tour on the list are 22-11 on those tours since 2018.

We hope you are able to post all of your teammates this weekend with your knowledge of NFL competition.
