QB senior CJ Carr recruits Notre Dame to head the national title

CJ Carr was born in a football game.

It should come as no surprise that the quarterback, the grandson of Michigan coach and winner of the World Cup Lloyd Carr, has made his own debut in football. Preparing for Saline (Mich.) High School, Carr earned 20 scholarships before going public and volunteering Thursday evening.

Carr next to make his mark on college football will do this at Notre Dame, he said Sports Illustrated this week.

“I think I connected with the teachers as soon as I got to the first school,” Carr said of his decision to fight Irish. “Every time I went there, it was great.
