OR Soon defeated the Texas Longhorns in Game 1 of the NCAA softball WCWS finals
The chorus sang out loud and loud.
After Tiare Jennings’ second OU runner-up three runners-up in the third inning won Wednesday’s 1st Women’s College World Series Championship-winning event in the Women’s College World Series competition from place to place, Carrie Underwood “I am Champion” was played in the USA. Softball Hall of Fame Stadium.
“I am invincible, unbreakable, unmovable, unmovable,” sang Underwood.
It’s hard to imagine that any of them aren’t working for this Sooners team.
I can also add “inevitable” to the list after the OU 16-1 shootout in Texas.
“I can’t say it surprises us,” said Jocelyn Alo of the iconic numbers his team continues to send. “But it ‘s good to see what we can do when the steps go up.”
The Sooners have not won the sixth edition of the show with a win, but it could take a dramatic fall to prevent this from happening right now.

The OU has not lost a backlash game since February 2020, and it could take two consecutive wins with the Longhorns to prevent the Sooners from taking the title for the second consecutive season and the fourth time in the last six competitions.
Game 2 is scheduled for 6:30 pm Thursday (ESPN2).
After Jayda Coleman advanced twice and Alo ran and ran home Saturday 7-2 OR to win the Longhorns in the second round, Texas coach Mike White was asked why he did not walk Alo.
“That’s not the way I play softball,” said White, “and went on to call the Sooners’ team” Row Murderer’s Row, “recalls the famous New York Yankees of 1927.
On Wednesday, the Recentists also highlighted the difficulty of running their system for protesters.
Coleman, for the second time, was led by Texas founder Hailey Dolcini.
Alo then, once again, blew up a passageway on the left wall and the OU error was resolved.
After the explosion, White was asked if he had reconsidered his position.
“We have to do our best to defeat them,” White said. “As you walk, you are just adding another runner. He has written another – four or five numbers. We need to find a way to score seven. That’s the way it is, you know.”
Running home was the first of six for the Sooners in success, a WCWS record.
Both Alo, who added his own shot in the fifth, and Jennings hit two each.
Taylon Snow added a first three explosions with Jana Johns shooting just for the third time.

He soon set up WCWS records
The Sooners scored in every inning, tying the WCWS track record in the game – thanks in part to removing the running rules.
OR also broke their WCWS record of running the event, raising their number to 54 in five games.
In eight games last season, the Sooners scored WCWS-record 49 runs.
Alo also recorded a one-season WCWS home run (five) and RBI (13).
Jennings then tied Alo’s home record with his fifth shot on Alo’s heels, then broke Alo’s RBI record, bringing him to 14th in his sixth RBI.
Alo also broke the record for the runs he scored in the WCWS games by five as he raised his batting average by .527.
They are hitting .733 (11 for 15) in the WCWS, and .690 (20 for 29) in the postseason. It has reached each climax in its last nine forms.

Things did not go well at the OU on Wednesday, as founder Hope Trautwein lost twice before going three strikers in a row to give the Longhorns the lead.
But the Sooners bats gave Trautwein a resting place, and the senior – who grew up in Longhorns – settled down.
Trautwein went five innings, allowing two hits and one run to go 22-1.
Nicole May ended the victory with two closing innnings.
Now, OU is one success away from another topic.
“I think the approach is similar,” Snow said. “We’ll go out and rule. It doesn’t matter who’s on that hill. It doesn’t matter what name they put on their chest.
“Just go out and play Sooneer softball.”
And Texas will look to push the game into the third game after coming out Wednesday when the first inning ended.
“Nothing is happening today,” Dolcini said. “So you learn, and try not to make the same mistakes again. Then we just go out and play freely.
“I think we just lost a little bit today.”
