Former United States women’s team goalkeeper Hope Solo has said she is entering the drug program and has asked to be reinstated in the National Soccer Hall of Fame until 2023 on Friday.
Solo was arrested on March 31 at a parking lot in Winston-Salem, North Carolina after he was found to have two-year-old twins inside.
He was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, resisting arrest and child abuse.
“I have connected with the Hall of Fame and I respectfully request that my well-known Hall of Fame ceremony be suspended in 2023,” Solo said in a statement posted on his Twitter account.
‘I will voluntarily join an alcohol rehabilitation program.

The Hall of Fame also issued a statement Friday.
“A well-known USWNT expert and director of the National Soccer Hall of Fame 2022 Hope Solo has decided to suspend his nomination until 2023,” it said. ‘NSHOF is very supportive of its decision and hopes to honor him and his past experiences at the presidency next year.’
This year’s main event is set to take place on May 21 in Frisco, Texas. Solo is expected to appear in court on June 28.
Recently, Solo’s engine was running when the police arrived. At first he refused to get out of his car and then failed the school test.
Posting on Instagram after his arrest, Solo thanked those who approached him and helped him.
“Our family is strong and surrounded by love,” Solo said in a letter. ‘Our children are strong, intelligent, happy and strong and we live every day and give them a very good life.
‘We will be able to share the truth with others on time. In the meantime, our children are enjoying the sun (North Carolina), popsicles and playing in our environment. Life can be stressful, but these are just the beginning. I feel blessed to have such love and support. ‘
In 2011, Solo became a sports icon when she played in the FIFA Women’s World Cup when she recovered from a shoulder injury, the team losing the first loss to reach the final.
In 2014, Solo became famous for all the wrong reasons after being arrested for assaulting his 17-year-old sister at her home in Seattle, Washington.
Solo had lived under previous laws, including one in 2014 when he was arrested at his home in Washington for assaulting his brother and sister. The case was dismissed after the prosecution refused to testify.
Solo, a native of Richland, Washington, was the guardian of the teams that won the 2015 World Cup and the 2007 and 2011 teams.
Known as one of the most successful women athletes to win the sport, she also won gold medals as a 2008 and 2012 Olympic team athlete in the US.
Overall, Solo has won 202 games with the national team and has a record 102 closing history.
