After two years, it seems the family can finally enjoy this joy outside the home. Still, taking the time to prepare some delicious recipes with the kids in the kitchen will make the experience even more special (and fun)!
To make your Sao Joao a success, we’ve talked to nutritionists and come up with some recipes that incorporate common festive ingredients: peanuts, rice, corn, and everything else available this month. 3, 2, 1.
Sweet Potato Brigadero

Materials:
- 1 raw beet (without skin) and chopped
- Boil and mash 3 sweet potatoes (medium)
- 100 ml coconut milk
- 1 and 1/2 cup of Dimera sugar
- 100 g corano coconut
Preparation mode:
Mash the boiled potatoes with a mixer or beat in a processor to make them very smooth. Beat coconut milk and beetroot in a blender. Then in a pan pour the puree, whipped coconut milk with beetroot, sugar and grated coconut.
Put the mixture in the oven. When it starts to boil, reduce the heat and keep stirring vigorously until it starts to boil (about 25 minutes) and is completely detached from the pan. Finally, pour the candy into a bowl and let it cool. With flour at room temperature, roll like a brigadier and roll in grated coconut. They are ready to cheer the party guests!

Sweet rice swing
Age limit: From 1 year

Materials:
- 1 cup white rice
- 2 glasses of water
- 250 ml coconut milk
- 2 Trimmed, without sweet and peat
- 1/2 teaspoon ambergris extract (or vanilla)
- 1 pinch cinnamon
Preparation mode:
Mix rice and water in a pan and keep it on low heat. Meanwhile, mash the plums or put the pulses in a food processor until they form a puree. Then add milk to the plum paste and when the water is dry, add it to the rice.
Stir the mixture over low heat (the point of rice pudding is wet and creamy, rice should not be allowed to dry completely). Turn off the heat, add the amber extract (or vanilla) and stir a little more. Now just sprinkle with cinnamon and serve.

Kurau
Age limit: From 2 years old

Materials:
- 200 grams of green corn
- 200 ml fresh coconut milk
- 3 tablespoons grated fresh coconut
- 3 tablespoons of coconut sugar
- 1 level spoon of coconut oil
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- Cinnamon powder to taste
Preparation mode:
Beat the ingredients (excluding baking powder) in a blender until a homogeneous cream is obtained. Then add the yeast and beat again. Transfer the mixture to a roasting pan in a silicone mold or greased with coconut oil and cornmeal and keep in the oven (preheated) for about 40 minutes. To finish, the family can sprinkle cinnamon powder to taste.

Cornmill and beef cupcakes

Materials:
- Corn with 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup of oil
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 and 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 2 tablespoons wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons of yeast
- 50 grams of butter
- Chop 1 onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 300 g cooked and chopped dried meat
- Salty
- 1/4 bunch cut parsley
- 1 cup cream cheese
Preparation mode:
Beat corn, oil, eggs and parmesan in a blender. Meanwhile, in another bowl, mix cornmeal and wheat flour and add to the liquid mixture. Finally, add the yeast and mix gently. Pour the cake mixture into a paper cup and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes.
At this point, fry the onion, garlic and shake in butter. Adjust the salt (if needed), add the chopped parsley and set aside. Prepare the cupcake flour and with the help of a cutter, make holes in the cupcakes and fill with yogurt, finishing with a shake on top. Delicious!

Tapioca dice
Age limit: From 2 years old

Materials:
- 500 g granular tapioca flour
- 1 liter of milk
- 500 grams of grated yogurt cheese
- Salty
- 1 pinch white pepper
Preparation mode:
Heat the milk in a pan and turn off the heat when hot. In a bowl, mix grated colho cheese with granulated tapioca. Then add hot milk and stir. Add salt and pepper and keep stirring until all the ingredients are well mixed.
Pour the mixture into a mold covered with cling film and also cover the flour on top. Then refrigerate for about two hours. Once hardened, cut the mixture into cubes and brown in the oven. These can be served with fruit jelly!

Pumpkin candy
Age limit: From 6 months

Materials:
- 100 g peeled pumpkin
- 50 ml water or coconut water
- 1 apple
- 1/2 papaya
- 1/2 pear
Preparation mode:
Transfer all ingredients to a pressure cooker and when you get the pressure, count to 5 minutes and turn off. Let the cream cool and serve it crushed for the little ones to enjoy!

Homemade peanut candy
Age limit: From 1 year
Materials:
- 2 cups peanuts (fried and skinless)
- 1 cup (tea) sugar
- 1 pinch salt
Preparation mode:
Put sugar, peanuts and salt in a blender. Beat everything together until it forms a finely chopped texture. Then pour into a bowl and stir for a few minutes with the tip of a finger. Transfer the mixture to a mold, spread and press well. Refrigerate and leave for 30 minutes. Finally, just cut into squares and enjoy!

Corn cookie
Age limit: From 1 year

Materials:
- 1 cup fresh green corn
- 400 ml milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup (tea) Dimer sugar (or 200 g dates)
- 1 cup wheat or rice flour
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1 tablespoon of yeast
Preparation mode:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Meanwhile, beat the corn, milk and eggs in a blender until the mixture is homogeneous. Then add the margarine, sugar and wheat flour. Add the yeast and mix gently.
Pour the flour into a greased form and take it to the oven to bake for about 30 minutes. Finally, wait for the dumplings to cool completely and serve for the family!
>> Note < If you are going to use dates instead of sugar, follow this procedure: Hydrate in filtered water for 1 hour and then place in food processor. Use this paste to replace the sugar (about one to two tablespoons is enough).
