Campos, RJ, has announced appointments for children ages 5 to 11 to be vaccinated against Covid-19. Norte Fluminense

The Department of Health at the Campos dos Goethecazes in Norte Fluminense has released a schedule for children aged 5 to 11 to be vaccinated against Covid-19, which continues to be applied to the public health network this Tuesday (8). Children can be vaccinated with both the first and second doses.

Vaccines aimed at the general public are administered day and night. The prefecture explains that the service, delivered to more than a dozen stations across the municipality, can be accessed via an online schedule or password, according to the following specifications published by the municipality:

  • Five-year-olds, without comorbidity, receive the vaccine at the Reference Center for Special Immunobiological (Crie) and Cidade da Criança from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • For children aged five to 11, the vaccine will be given at the State University of North Fluminex (Uenf) Convention Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • By password, children between the ages of five and 11 can be vaccinated at the Basic Family Health Unit (UBSF) Lugmar, Farol de Sওo Tomমে, UBSF Park Rodovario and the Convention Center.
  • For children ages 6 to 11, they are also cared for at UBSF Custodopolis; UBSF Lagoa de Cima; Penha UBS; UBSF Ponta da Lama; UBSF Moro Do Coco; And UPH Travessão. Apart from the convention center, which is open from 9 am to 3 pm, other places are open from 8:30 am to 1 pm.
  • Also by password, children aged 5 to 11 receive the first dose of the vaccine at the former Pre-Hospital Unit (UPH) Children’s Clinic in Guaras from 4 to 10 p.m.

By appointment, children between the ages of six and 11 will be given a second dose of the Coronavac vaccine at the convention center. Already by password, it will be at the headquarters of the Department of Health; UBSF Custodopolis; UBSF Santo Amaro; UBSF Ponta da Lama; Penha UBS; And UHP Travesão. Vaccination will be done at the same time as above. At the Children’s Clinic, where the service is available from 16:00 to 22:00. The interval between one dose and another dose is 28 days.

The second dose of Pfizer for children aged five to 11 years is given at intervals of four weeks, that is, two months, at the Reference Center for Special Immunobiology (Crie) and Cidade da Criança, from 8:30 am. 1 p.m. At the Convention Center, this same public service through appointments and passwords, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

By password only, the second from Pfizer is applied to UBSF do Parque Rodoviário, UBSF Lagamar and Pre-Hospital Unit (UHP) Travessão from 8am to 1pm. At the Children’s Clinic, from 4 to 10 p.m.

“A child who has turned six, but has received the first dose of Pfizer, the second must be accompanied by the same immunizing agent. The same thing happens with those who have turned 12 and received a pediatric Pfizer, they need to complete the initial procedure with an immunizing agent, “said Leonardo Cordeiro, technical adviser on immunization.

All children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. In case of vaccination, a photo document, CPF, proof of residence, vaccination book or Covid-19 vaccine card must be presented.

Intercourse and disability

The first and second doses for children 5 to 11 years of age, including comorbidities, will be administered at the Reference Center for Special Immunobiological (Crie). Children with disabilities (physical, sensitive or intellectual) under the age of five will be vaccinated at Cidade da Criança. For children with disabilities between the ages of six and 11, the vaccine will be given at UBSF Custodopolis; UBSF Lagoa de Sima; UBSF Santo Amaro; UBSF Ponta da Lama; UBSF Moro Do Coco; And at the UPH in Travasao. Services at all locations from 8:30 to 13:00.

Everyone will have priority in the queue until they present documents proving disability or disability that could be a medical report; Revenue; Free public transport card with Municipal Autistic Identification Card (CMIA); Documents of attendance at a rehabilitation center or special unit; Official documents that identify disability; Card for a program, such as support programs for patients with asthma and rhinitis (Proper) or the High Complexity Care Unit (UNACON).

Booster dose (3rd dose) for adolescents

A booster dose (third dose) is also available for adolescents ages 12 to 17 who received a second dose four months ago. The vaccine is administered at the Clinica da Criansa and Saldanha Marinho UPH. Vaccination is given in both places from 4 pm to 10 pm, but if there is no open bottle after 8 pm, 5 people in each group will be vaccinated.
