After three students denounced the fact that they were barred from attending the college where they were studying because they were with their young children, the UniGoiás University Center announced that the facilities were not suitable for children. The organization’s note states that the presence of minors on the site may interfere with activities and endanger their integrity.
“Our facilities are unprepared for their educational purposes and are not conducive to the adoption of children, which, if done, would interfere with activities and endanger the integrity of children in this environment,” the note said.

Per g1, Three students of the veterinary course said that they went through such a situation in Guyana in April. They also videotaped that they had received advice from security guards to keep their children out and how they felt. (See above).
Students said the college’s justification was that it did not allow children to enter the classroom, even if they were with them, so as not to interfere with other students’ learning.
However, the mothers insisted that in no case would they enter the classroom with their children and, nevertheless, they were barred from entering the institution.
The most recent case is that of Isadora Calvin, 26, a veterinary student. The young woman said she had come to give a lecture at the college on Thursday (26) with her 1-year-old and 4-month-old daughter, but was prevented from entering by security.
“It was a very embarrassing situation for my daughter to be out of college. Insulting, because we pay for access and I could not enter the organization. It was a feeling of helplessness, I cried a lot to get through it with my little girl “, he said.
On April 13, Gabriela Barbosa Lima, 25, a veterinary student, was barred from entering college with her 11-month-old baby. According to her, the daughter will be with a friend at the food court until an aunt arrives, who will be in this common area with the baby when the mother takes the test.
“We don’t want to take the child because we really lose focus, but sometimes there is no other way. It is very embarrassing not to get support from the faculty. My daughter stays in a yard and then sleeps in the car because she can’t go to college, ”he said.

Thainara Xavier also reported what happened to her 8-year-old son on April 25, 8 at the same college. He said he had to take an exam and he would leave her in the next room looking at the drawings on his cell phone because he had no one to leave him for the day.
“Security stopped me outside the parking lot turnstile. If I want to go in, I have to leave him. Luckily my husband ran from the other side of town to get her, but I panicked, I reached the classroom crying a lot, I couldn’t stop, “she recalls.
